Everyday underwear must fulfill the same role as special-purpose underwear—we wear it for hours, in a variety of conditions, and under a variety of clothes. Furthermore, underwear directly impacts our comfort, appearance, and, most importantly, health, so its quality and craftsmanship are particularly important. In this article, you'll learn how to choose everyday underwear that's comfortable and complements all styles, as well as how to care for it.
What underwear is the most comfortable?
Everyday underwear should be imperceptible under clothing , so it must be properly selected for our figure—too small or too large will always cause discomfort. For more tips on underwear sizes, check out our article 👉🏻 How to Choose Underwear? Stylist's Tips .
The comfort of wearing underwear is also influenced by the raw material it's made from. Natural materials such as cotton, viscose, bamboo, Tencel, or modal are best. These materials are soft to the touch, absorb moisture, and allow air to circulate freely—which plays a key role in comfort and will help you forget about choosing panties that won't make you sweat. Besides the style and material , the seams and elastic waistband are also important. Flat seams, carefully crafted to prevent unraveling and threads from sticking out, are the most comfortable. Elastic bands shouldn't be too thin, as this can cause them to dig in—those over 3 cm are definitely better.
What panties for everyday use?
Women's everyday underwear should cover intimate areas and separate them from outerwear to prevent chafing. So, what kind of panties should you wear?
Classic briefs or tangas are a much better choice than thongs, Brazilians, or thongs. Panties with a thin back strap are considered less hygienic and more prone to irritation and infection, so gynecologists don't recommend them for everyday wear . While these panties are great for special occasions, like under a very tight dress like our Miss Flawless , they're not the best choice for everyday wear.
What bra to wear every day?
Bra selection is a personal matter – for larger breasts, a soft, non-wired bra won't be as comfortable as one for those with smaller breasts . Whether you choose a classic bra or a non-padded one, make sure your lingerie collection includes a smooth bra without lace or structure that could show under clothing. This is especially important for more fitted T-shirts , shirts , and tops . When it comes to color, beige works best, as it blends in with the skin tone, which is especially important with light and dark fabrics.
#RADAODANSIN 💡 Beige comes in many shades, so to make the bra as little transparent as possible, match its shade to your complexion.

How to care for underwear every day?
Everyday underwear is heavily used, so it requires special care and maintenance to ensure it lasts as long as possible. The best way to care for bras and panties is to follow the instructions on the label . However, if you've cut them off or they're invisible, follow these recommendations:
Prepare your underwear for washing —don't wash it with all your other clothes. Separating your underwear by color and washing it with other delicate items will certainly reduce the risk of it getting caught in something like a zipper or getting discolored.
Place it in special laundry bags – they prevent the underwear from getting caught and also protect the washing machine from malfunctions caused by the underwires, which, due to intensive washing and use, sometimes unexpectedly come loose and can damage the machine. Furthermore, these bags prevent the underwear from getting tangled in the wash, which can result in it not being washed properly.
Use gentle detergents – liquid laundry detergents are definitely better for washing these items than powder, which, due to its harsh ingredients, can damage delicate underwear fibers. There are special laundry detergents on the market that are perfectly suited for this purpose. In addition to special detergents, you can also use baby laundry detergents that do not contain harmful substances.
How to wash underwear?
Low temperature and a gentle cycle or hand wash prevent the material from stretching and shrinking . However, there's an exception in the form of cotton underwear, which is slightly more resistant. You can wash it at up to 60 degrees Celsius, but 40 degrees should be enough to remove heavier stains. If it's not that dirty, choose 30 degrees Celsius as a precaution . If hand washing, add lukewarm water and a suitable detergent to a bowl, and then wait about half an hour. After this time, gently rub out the stains, rinse thoroughly, gently squeeze out excess water (without twisting), and leave to dry.
Do not tumble dry . Drying lingerie in a dryer can negatively impact its elasticity and shape. It's recommended to dry it flat on a towel or line , avoiding direct sunlight, which can cause colors to fade. Finally, remember to store it properly! Bras shouldn't be folded inside each other, as this causes one cup to warp. However, panties can be folded or laid flat.
Everyday underwear isn't easy, but if you choose the right one and take care of it, the investment will certainly pay off—it'll feel like a second skin and last for years!
