Behind-the-scenes photoshoots are now a regular occurrence for us – you love watching us create photos and videos, so we're happy to share the details of these events with you. We've recently received a lot of messages from you asking for insights into the production facilities at ANSIN . That's why we've prepared something special for you… today we're lifting the veil of secrecy and revealing the process of creating our clothes !

Clothes idea, or where to start?

How is it that so many new model ideas emerge at ANSIN? Although we already have 12 "brainiacs" on the team to come up with them, most of them come from our production team.

Zosia, Marta, Ela, and Martyna collaborate to create concepts for our new models. Ania recently joined the team, supporting them in their work and overseeing the entire production process! They draw inspiration primarily from their experience and your suggestions. The girls strive to identify fashion gaps that need filling with high-quality basics. This is how the first outlines of new products are created!

Team verification - does everyone in ANSIN have to say yes?

While we don't always have the opportunity to ask everyone's opinion, we strive to ensure that most of our team is aware of new projects. This way, we have the opportunity to gather helpful feedback and consider whether creating a given product is a good move. Does this mean that everyone has to like a given new product? Of course not!

We strive to ensure that our designs are aesthetically pleasing and functional – complementing our clients' wardrobes and providing a pleasure to wear. However, we remember that there is no one-size-fits-all silhouette, so our products are tailored to suit a variety of body shapes.

Our T-shirts are a great example here - although they are all timeless, each cut highlights the figure in a different way .

How ANSIN clothes are made

Construction - how to translate a design from your head into material?

After this preparation, we're ready to move forward with the project. We select the knit or woven fabric, and then the components necessary to create the entire design. For simple products, selecting the appropriate threads is sufficient, but for more complex designs, much more is needed— buttons, cords, aglets, snaps, boning, and collar inserts.

We pass our inspiration on to the designer, who creates templates and a construction for us based on our base size. This information is then sent to the sewing workshop, which then sends us a finished "sample" of the product.

First fitting

The result of all this work, of course, must be assessed by us – we check it for construction, comfort, and quality of workmanship. We verify the size by checking every measurement. The watchful eye of our technologist, Ela, will spot even the smallest sewing flaws , so we're sure our samples are thoroughly inspected! 🙂

Several people try on the product – we try it on for each person to describe their impressions and how the model fits their body. We then wear it for a few days and verify its performance in everyday use. We wash it, testing for shrinkage, and then wear it in various conditions. After gathering our findings, we make adjustments and send them to the designer. This process comes full circle – the designer makes adjustments to the patterns and sends them to the sewing room, where a new sample is sewn for us to test again.

Typically, two or three such designs are enough to create the perfect model. However, we've had a few products where we needed more stitching. The record holder is Miss Charming – we created a whopping 10 samples while working on this model!

The making of clothes

One step to the product: final arrangements!

If a given model meets our expectations and we're certain we want it in the ANSIN range, we begin further development. We send the final version to the designer and ask her to scale it across a range of sizes. Next, we select colors, order materials, and agree on packaging. At this stage, we also select the labeling, tags, and box.

Once the work is completed, all information is sent to the sewing room, which can begin processing your order. All that's left is to wait for production to begin and for the products to be shipped to us for the shoot ( we shared more about them in our article "Behind the Scenes of Our Photo Shoots and Roller Skates" ), and then to the warehouse. Then, our products undergo final inspection, and we're ready to share the fruits of our labor with you!

The making of ANSIN clothes - summary

The process of creating a new model is a very complex and dynamic process. It requires not only high technical skills but also analytical abilities and creativity. This is an element of our work that is invisible from the outside, yet it is of paramount importance to the entire ANSIN. Without the well-organized efforts of our production team, many projects would never have seen the light of day. We are proud that we were able to create such a well-coordinated and effective team 💛

Be sure to let us know if you expected it to take so long to create a single model. We'd love to hear your thoughts!
