Now let's get to the promised tips 🚀
What coat color should I choose?
If you're thinking about buying your first coat , we recommend choosing a neutral color , which will be more versatile in your wardrobe and will fit into many outfits. Neutral colors are a "safe" option 😊 – but that doesn't mean they're boring, as you probably know that original accessories can diversify outfits endlessly (see, for example, the outfit with the light coat no. 5). Styling with a black coat or a beige coat isn't just about minimalist or old-fashioned style – they can be styled however you like, depending on your imagination (and available resources)!
If you enjoy extravagance and don't mind being noticed, consider a coat in a unique color . This wardrobe staple will ensure you don't go unnoticed, and even if you're wearing a basic, minimalist outfit underneath, the unusual color will speak for itself!
However, if you want to follow trends , it's worth considering buying a coat in one of the popular colors of the season, such as red, burgundy, dark purple, chocolate brown, or gray 👉🏻 check out our Miss Special coat! Styling a gray coat (or chocolate, or red, etc.) doesn't have to be a challenge if you have a solid basic base in your wardrobe 👉🏻 check it out 💛 An unusual coat can be the centerpiece of an outfit, making the whole look more fashionable.

What items should not be worn under a coat?
As a fan of coats, I believe there's probably no wardrobe item that can't be paired with a coat. However, it's worth paying attention to the overall styling and the proportions created when adding layers. What should you pay attention to?
- Overly thick, oversized sweatshirts and sweaters under a fitted coat – the layering trend is popular – and rightly so, as it not only allows for interesting combinations but is also a good way to "warm up" an outfit. However, it's important to choose the thickness of the clothes for your subsequent layers carefully. If you want to wear a bulky sweater/sweatshirt/turtleneck/jacket, choose a coat with a looser cut that will fit under the clothes, be comfortable to move around in, and won't wrinkle.
- Jackets/dresses/cardigans peeking out from under the coat – wearing long garments under a coat that peek out from the bottom edge can create a chaotic styling and distort proportions. Ideally, the coat should be the longest layer in the outfit. The exception is when the length of the coat and the inner layer are deliberately different (e.g., an elegant maxi dress and a short fur coat).
- An elegant coat and hoodie – styles that combine different styles are sometimes very effective, but it's difficult to establish specific rules for pairing them. In the case of elegant coats, for example, tailored ones with metallic buttons, emblems, etc., pairing them with typically sporty elements may not be aesthetically pleasing. However, you can pair sportswear with dressing gown-style coats, which have a more universal style. These cuts suit many body types and styles, as they are very minimalistic in nature.
- Puffed or shoulder-pad sleeves – Clothes with heavily structured shoulders, puffed sleeves, or ruffles are difficult to pair with a fitted coat, both for comfort and aesthetic reasons. Tight coat sleeves can crush the sleeves of the garment underneath or create unsightly gathers under the coat sleeves, which can look unsightly and be uncomfortable.
- Chunky scarves – although a scarf isn't a staple under a coat, it's worth noting that overly thick and bulky scarves can distort the overall look. When choosing a style, consider how the scarf complements your silhouette. Remember that the size and volume of a scarf don't guarantee warmth – its composition and weave density are also important.
A coat outfit usually looks more chic than a jacket. Of course, it all depends on your taste and the specific outfit . A coat is a versatile wardrobe item that can be styled in many ways, so it's worth choosing it wisely. Whether you choose a classic black, elegant beige, or modern gray model, the key to a successful outfit is choosing the right accessories and creating harmonious outfits.
A coat outfit can be elegant, casual, or even streetwear – it all depends on your imagination and the occasion 🍸
