Do you like nice pajamas? We do too! However, remember that the material your sleepwear is made of is far more important than its appearance. This is truly crucial, as high-quality fabric, combined with the right fit, ensures a comfortable night's sleep. And comfort at night is definitely paramount!
What material is best for pajamas?
The market currently offers a wide selection of women's pajamas made from cotton, viscose, polyester, and polyamide. High-quality, durable cotton is always a good choice. This natural material allows the skin to breathe and effectively retains moisture, making it suitable not only for daytime wear but also for nighttime. The downside? It wrinkles easily, meaning these pajamas will need ironing. Synthetic fibers like polyester and polyamide, while having their advantages, don't absorb water and are poorly breathable. This means that after a night in a polyester nightgown, you might wake up wrinkle-free, but your skin might be overheated and sweaty. It's no wonder that polyester is primarily used for sexy nightgowns – wearing them occasionally for a date wouldn't be a sin, but we strongly advise against sleeping in synthetic pajamas every day (or rather, every night). Especially since there's a material that allows your skin to breathe and won't wrinkle too much. Ladies and gentlemen, we present viscose!

What material will be the most suitable for pajamas?
Why are viscose pajamas the best choice?
- It is air permeable and allows the skin to breathe.
- It is extremely pleasant to the touch.
- It absorbs and evaporates moisture perfectly.
- It doesn't crease as much as cotton.
- Usually does not require ironing.
Viscose is a natural material, produced artificially through a series of chemical processes. It is made from cellulose derived from trees (e.g., pine or spruce).
REMEMBER: Artificial and synthetic materials are not the same! Artificial fabrics are created by chemically processing natural fibers, while synthetic fabrics are manufactured from start to finish by humans.
Depending on the weave, viscose can be stretchy or elastic. Our pajamas are made of thin, delicate viscose that's opaque! This means you can sleep in them not only at home but also on trips with a group of friends. As you can see, the material your pajamas are made of is truly important!
Our MISS COMFY women's viscose pajamas:
What material for pajamas? Viscose!
Viscose is often enriched with a small amount of elastane, which prevents wrinkling, meaning the pajamas won't require ironing and won't wrinkle significantly during sleep. Our MISS COMFY pajamas contain 7% elastane. This addition doesn't negatively impact the viscose's properties, but rather enhances its wrinkle resistance.

How should you care for viscose pajamas to ensure they stay looking their best for a long time? Wash them at 30 degrees Celsius in the washing machine. Higher temperatures could damage the delicate viscose fibers. MISS COMFY shouldn't require ironing, but if wrinkles do develop, you can iron them at a maximum temperature of 90-100 degrees Celsius. It's a good idea to turn the fabric inside out. Simple, right? Now you know which fabric to choose for your pajamas!
