Local production – why and how do we sew in Poland?
From the moment we started ANSIN, we knew we would prioritize quality and good materials, as well as transparent and local production. We decided that we wanted our business to support domestic facilities, but also to stay in constant contact with them and build friendly, natural relationships focused on creating responsible fashion. About a year and a half has passed since the launch of our first products, and we intend to fully continue this open and transparent communication. Our assortment is created in two towns near Warsaw. The first stop is a small print shop, where our logo is printed on our fabric by advanced, specially programmed machines. Then, the t-shirts are transported to a friendly sewing workshop, where the patterns are cut, and then skilled seamstresses sew the finished products. Other workshop staff press the t-shirts on special tables, and then the products end up in our less-waste packaging. The attention to detail from the sewing workshop staff is truly impressive. When we had the opportunity to visit the site and see every stage of production in person, we realized that slow fashion is a real fashion revolution. Every pair of hands makes a difference in the final result! We are proud that by our choice, we support Polish workplaces, providing jobs for seamstresses and print shop employees.
Ansin’s principles - We focus on limited quantities
Many people might think that limited and transparent fashion is an unnecessary limitation for a business. Why produce less and talk about it? For us, however, these are extremely important values - we want to be honest with you at every stage of production while working on our own terms. We are a small company that, despite continuous growth, says a categorical "no" to mass production. We create our clothing in a sustainable way and in accordance with our values. Ethical fashion is extremely important to us; we would like to be part of a responsible business and promote such values through our approach to production. Thanks to limited production, we maintain the high quality of our products, but do you know what the best part is? We don’t need to plan collections – our items will last for many seasons because they have a classic and timeless character. By limiting our range, we don’t generate overproduction, and we gradually replenish any stock shortages. ANSIN products are classics that fit any wardrobe. And we try to ensure that every single item is made with love!
Transparent fashion - plans for the future
The truth is that we are comfortable in our calm, slow fashion and less waste reality. However, our development plans are significant – especially for 2021, which we hope will be better for everyone. As for our plans for the near future, we are primarily focusing on creating more products for you in limited quantities and in a transparent manner. Something we are constantly doing, though it might not be obvious, is testing new materials, and we plan to continue focusing on that. We have several projects, as well as visions for new items that you will likely see in our store soon. Regarding the details – we will consistently remain in a basic and classic style. That is definitely our vibe.
An extremely important part of our growth is also the educational aspect. We would like to create content that is useful for you and from which you can learn a lot about fashion. We know you often need advice on how to build a wardrobe sensibly, so we will certainly create something for you where we share our knowledge and tips on this topic.
